2011-11-12 Alex-TT Group Training Camps for Christmas Break

Alex-TT will be hosting the group training camps for the Christmas Break during Dec.24 to Jan.8. OTTA will have the group training camps from Dec.27 to 30, and Alex-TT will continue to run the training camps from Jan.2 to 8 as follow:
1) Intermediate/advance training camp: 9:00am - 11:30am, 1:00pm - 3:30pm, 5-hours per day, 4-days, Jan.2, 4, 6, 8
2) beginner/intermediate training camp: 9:00am - 11:30am, 1:00pm - 3:30pm, 5-hours per day, 3-days, Jan.3, 5, 7

2011-11-01 Ontario Team Project

As one of the OTTCs (Ontario Table Tennis Centre), Alex-TT is working with OTTA on the launch of Ontario Team Project from Nov.1st, 2011. Alex-TT will be gladly hosting the Ontario Team training camps in its training facility three times a week. The current Ontario Team training schedule at Alex-TT is:
Wednesday, 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Thursday, 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Sunday, 9:00am - 12:00pm

2011-07-15 ALEX-TT students won the 2011 Canadian Championships titles!

Congratulations to following students who have just won the 2011 Canadian Championships that was held in Mississauga, ON in July, 2011.

Lucas Wong - Under-15 National Champion
Moxi Guo - Under-13 National Champion
Jeremy Hazin - Under-11 National Champion

The president and coach Alex Li also won the National Champion in the Over-40 category.

2011-09-15 ALEX-TT moving to bigger training facility

As the fast growing of the table tennis training needs, starting from September 24, 2011, ALEX-TT will move its training centre to a newer and bigger training facility located at 161 Alden Road, Unit 2&3, Markham, ON L3R 4N4.

The new training centre will have more tables available and hire more coaches so as to offer better quality lessons to more students.

08/16/2009 - MyTableTennis.NET sponsorship to 2009 N.A Team Championship

The 2009 JOOLA North American Teams Championships is going to be held on November 27th to the 29th at the Baltimore Convention Center. MyTableTennis.NET is sponsoring 7 teams to participate at the NA Teams Championships this year. All teams will be under the MyTableTennis.NET name and will be numbered. Any MyTableTennis.NET forum member can register through MyTableTennis.NET individually or in a group. Teams will then be put together according to everyone's preference and ratings. If members register as a group (team), MyTableTennis.NET will keep groups in the same team. Please read the details and register here.

06/18/2009 - ITTF President Adham Sharara makes his 1st visit to CCTTA club

On June 18, 2009 the president of ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation), Adham Sharara graced us with his presence at CCTTA club in Markham by invitation of Alex Li, the president of ALEX TABLE TENNIS. Mr. Sharara assessed the club facilities and posted great reviews on MyTableTennis.NET (http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=27051). Even with Mr. Sharara’s tight schedule, he was generous enough to sign autographs for some of the heartened students and even dined with Alex Li and other directors of CCTTA. At the end of the day Mr. Sharara summed up the day as a “pleasant surprise.”
